The project „Innovative methods of stem cells application in medicine” is a six-year project co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007-2013 which is the beneficiary of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.

The project is a joint venture of five scientific institutions included in the consortium: Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Jagiellonian University, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology.

The project "Innovative methods of stem cells application in medicine" is co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund Innovative Economy Operational Programme (2007-2013), Priority Axis 1 “Research and development of modern technologies” Measure 1.1 “Support for scientific research for establishment of a knowledge-based economy” 1.1.2 “Strategic programs of scientific research and development work”. An application for funding for the project received 96.20 points and was in first place in the ranking list of projects recommended for funding, from more than 100 submitted projects.

The allocated grant is 45,351,032.00 PLN.
